Sandra Utzschneider offers comprehensive diagnostics and individual treatment concepts based on the latest medical standards. Prof. Utzschneider offers a broad spectrum of conservative (non-surgical) general orthopedic treatments, including all joints (hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand) as well as the spine. In addition, Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider specializes in the unique needs of children, including musculoskeletal deformities (e.g., clubfoot, flatfoot, skeletal dysplasia), hip dysplasia and scoliosis.
Her expertise also comprises the complex fields of neuro-orthopedics, modern bioregenerative therapy of osteoarthritis (e.g., plasma therapy, PRP, ACP) and orthomolecular therapy.

Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider is a highly qualified expert, specializing in pediatric orthopedics and general orthopedics.

The multiple award-winning specialist studied human medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (LMU) from 1993 to 2000. After surgical training with a focus on Endoprosthetics at the Hospital of Garmisch-Partenkirchen (2000-2004) Prof. Utzschneider absolved her specialist training in orthopedics at the University Hospital of Munich (LMU, 2004-2009). In 2009 Prof. Utzschneider obtained her specialist qualification as an orthopedic surgeon.
From 2009 to 2015, Prof. Dr. Utzschneider expanded her expertise by working as deputy head of pediatric orthopedics at the University Hospital of Munich. In 2015 she was promoted to a leading position, further developing her expertise in pediatric orthopedics, gaining her additional qualification in the same year.

Prof. Utzschneider has held a teaching position since 2011 and an extraordinary professorship since 2015 at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (LMU).
Before starting her practice in 2021, Prof. Utzschneider held a leading position in a private practice in Munich from 2016-2021. Currently, Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider is an active board member of the Association for Pediatric Orthopedics (VKO, German, Austria and Switzerland) and works closely with global research institutes.

MODERN CONSERVATIVE MANAGEMENT OF OSTEOARTHRITIS

Our private practice PROF. UTZSCHNEIDER ORTHO CONCEPT is located in the city center of Munich, near the Frauenkirche. It is a two-minute walk from the train (S-Bahn) and subway (U-Bahn) stops Marienplatz and Stachus. We are on the third floor of the building (elevators available).
You can find public parking at the Pschorr-Garage and the City-Parkhaus nearby if you are traveling by car. For people with disabilities, we offer accessible parking directly in front of the building.
