Our Treatments

Hip dysplasia, leg length discrepancies and other complex orthopedic disorders need to be treated by a specialist. Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider analyzes the problems of young patients. After finding a diagnosis, she offers you the best suitable therapeutic treatments – including insoles/orthoses as well as surgical solutions. With you, Prof. Utzschneider finds a solution tailored to the specific needs of your child.

It is often impossible to identify the extent of scoliosis just by eye. In order to diagnose a patient with scoliosis, an appointment with a specialist in pediatric orthopedics followed by a thorough physical examination are necessary. Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider supports you to receive the correct diagnosis and offers a suitable conservative treatment such as corset therapy, customized physiotherapy concepts or proprioceptive insoles to improve torso asymmetry.

Osteoarthritis is a condition that affects the whole joint, meaning the bone, cartilage, ligaments and muscles. Osteoarthritis can include inflammation of surrounding tissue, damage of joint cartilage or deterioration of ligaments. Possible treatments are plasma therapy (PRP), hyaluronic acid and magnetic field therapy. Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider will develop a therapy plan specifically tailored to your needs.

It is crucial to distinguish harmless postural weaknesses from severe conditions. To reduce movement pain and fight the cause of your discomfort, Prof. Dr. med. Sandra Utzschneider analyzes your spine and locomotor system in detail before providing the patient with an individually tailored therapy. Injections, PRP (ACP) and other minimally invasive spine therapies, including thermal ablation, can increase mobility and lead to a symptom-free daily routine.
